Music 2 Your Ears is a new and exciting music education company and after school club run by husband and wife team, Michelle and Adrian Gibson.

Both teachers have over 50 years teaching experience between them, are fully qualified (P.G.C.E.), child safeguard trained and DBS checked with Public Liability insurance. They have worked in a wide range of educational settings and have taught students from the age of 5 right through to adult level. They have worked for Music Hubs, Councils, private schools, special schools, universities and teach privately.

Adrian started playing the cornet aged 7 at primary school and became heavily involved in music throughout his school years thanks to some amazing teachers. He gained his music degree at Leeds College of Music in 1994 and became a P.G.C.E. qualified teacher the year later and then embarked on a teaching/playing career. He is an in- demand world class professional musician (www.adrian-l-gibson.com) who has recently finished touring with Jimmy Osmond (amongst many others). He has taught brass and drums for over 25 years and still has the same drive and enthusiasm as when he first started.

"With this opportunity, Music 2 Your Ears can put back into schools and the community the love and passion for music that I was gifted by my teachers and hopefully inspire students to feel the same way."

Michelle is a violinist/viola/piano and oboe player who was also 7 when she started at primary school. Music became her world as she was guided and inspired by her music teachers. She qualified at Dartington College of Arts in 1995 and also became a P.G.C.E. qualified teacher in 1997. She has taught both as a classroom teacher and a peripatetic music teacher ever since and also plays professionally. Michelle also holds a Masters degree in Special Needs which she has put to good use. She has helped numerous students overcome anxieties and communication difficulties through her teaching with excellent results.

"Music has allowed me to help develop learning for all students to maximise their full potential, regardless of their background or difficulties faced. Music 2 Your Ears is the best way I can facilitate that and use my invaluable Special Needs experience to nurture all my students."
